Published: 24/07/2009It's holiday season and the time of year to update your swimwear.
When it comes to your swimsuit choose a retailer that specialises in curvier figures and knows the sort of structure and support these body shapes need.
The best selling swimsuits this season include the ‘Miracle Suit’, which is uniquely made to provide fit and control. The new ‘tan-thru’ suit from Solar that has a honeycomb fabrication is designed to provide gradual tanning without having to strip off completely.
Use the summer sales to pick up a few cover-ups such as kaftans or tunics that you can wear over your swimsuit or dress up for going out to dinner with a pair of lightweight wide-cut trousers or leggings. Co-ordinating your holiday colour scheme is also a useful idea, as it will help you to choose your outfits easily and avoids any last minute panics.
When it comes to what footwear you need to bring with you on your holiday, three types are a must for your suitcase – a pair of ballet pumps, some glitzy flip-flops and a pair of strappy platforms.
Include tons of accessories , beads, bangles, hair accessories and a great tote bag. Finish with a few nail paints, a couple of high-colour kohl eye pencils, a good waterproof mascara - bronzing powder and instant tanning cream.
Keep your skin well moisturised and use plenty of sun lotion and that’s it – forget everything else and have a great time!
The Miracle Suit and ‘Tan-Thru’ range are available from www.naturallyclose.co.uk and www.simplyyours.co.uk
